Secluded part of 'Vanich House' compound nestled in Soi Vanich 2 in the creative district of Taladnoi, once a mezzanine where mechanics in a decade old machinery stay, The Mechanic’s Room recreates a cozy and utilitarian design in a warm wood and metal mood. The whole space is designed as one big elevated patio with operable panoramic openings facing the sunset-lit Chaophraya River view. A peaceful local stay.

Vanich House compound is once ‘Lee Yuon Cheong’, a decade old machinery which has been renovated by maintaining the spirit as much as possible, through keeping the existing space and the structure, reusing and relocating the material while inviting natural light and ventilation into the whole compound. A new life in the same old spirit.
